Grotte de su Marmuri
Grotte su Marmuri, Itineraries in Sardinia
Discovering natural and cultural wonders
You can visit some of the most beautiful caves in Sardinia, such as Is Zuddas in Sadali and Su Marmuri in Ulassai. The latter, one of the most awe-inspiring in Europe, extends for over a kilometer with an average height of 35 meters.
After climbing the initial 200 steps, the visit continues along a flat path, winding through natural pools, towering stalagmites, and richly decorated flowstones that will leave you speechless.
In Ulassai you can also visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, dedicated to Maria Lai, as well as the workshops where carpets and tapestries are handcrafted using traditional techniques.
